MacMini 2014 (699$) and Yosemite optimize

So, I just got this cute machine, 8G ram, core I5. I want to optimize it by removing unwanted services and eye candies, I pretty much want to have as much free ram as possible.

Any tips where to start looking/application for it?

Leave it as it is, it is already optimized. Don't get confused if Activity Monitor appears to show high RAM usage it's just OSX pre-loading apps based on your historic usage, if the memory is required they will be instantly bumped.
