I see that my Mac Mini supports BT 4.0 but I dont see the Continuity / Air Drop section in the system info. Running DP 4. Did my install go bad?

I've seen the exact same on multiple 2011 Macbook Airs that are have bluetooth LE. Going to try installing Yosemite on a 2011 Mac mini today too. I believe in some of these builds they were temporarily disabling the continuity on 2011 Macs.

You need IOS 8 iPhone to get working ...

its IOS 8 + Mac OS X 10.10 working together.. If you start something on iPhone then you can finish on Mac ..

I do have iOS8

The two missing lines are
Continuity Supported and AirDrop Supported

Exact same situation here....

Mid-2011 Mac Mini, Bluetooth LE supported, no handoff option..... Hopefully subsequent betas will enable it.

Those lines only appeared in DP2.

Which is part of why there is so much confusion over these features.

Those lines implied that BT 4.0 was the key. Now, nobody knows. (Nobody who can talk anyway)

So, what's the bet Apple will stipulate 2012 or later... :roll eyes:

My money would go that way at the moment...

I'm just so confused by this. I have the same setup, a mid-2011 Mac Mini, with Bluetooth 4.0 and 0x6 LMP version, but my System Report reads "Handoff Supported: No"

This is outrageous and I hope they fix this in the retail release. It has the exact hardware specified to be necessary to handoff features, so it better be getting handoff features...:(
