I don't know why their i7 dual core graphics results are so poor, doesn't that system have the amd gpu also? I see they used a mac pro since they didn't have a mini i7, but they mention it has the same gpu.

The quad core doesn't.
For their i7 dual core looks like they didn't test the mini, they tested a MBP.

(*NOTE: We didn't have a 2011 Dual-Core i7 2.7GHz Mac mini to test so we used the results from the 2011 Dual-Core i7 2.7GHz MacBook Pro results. They both use the same processor and same GPU. )

The dual core i7 is only available with the discrete AMD Radeon GPU.

So their reasoning of using the dual core Mac pro is wrong since it isn't the same CPU/gpu combo
