My iMac is a mid 2011. It is maxed out at macOS 10.13.6.

I just updated my iPhone 6s to iOS 14.4 (directly from 13.x I think, no earlier 14.x have been on it). I am pretty sure the iOS update to 14.4 was from the last iOS 13 release.

Now iTunes does not see the iPhone and I can not do backups to the Mac.

I don't think I have seen the message about needing to install an iTunes update that people talk about getting. In System Information I do see the phone in the USB area. Also all seems well on a MacBook Pro 10.14.6.

Any ideas? I am wondering if something that was working in earlier iOS 14.x versions changed in 14.4.

Go to the Apple website, download iTunes and run the installer. Even if it the same version it should repair any issues your having..
Yes. Thanks. Elsewhere someone posted a link to get the download, and it did work.

What was unclear was how to find the download without a link.
