Everything was working fine for me on 11.2, but now it seems that the Messages app takes a few minutes before syncing properly when I first open my MacBook Air (M1).

Not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that I'm running iOS 14.5 Beta 1 on my iPhone, but it's sort of annoying.

Anyone else experiencing this delay?

Hmm...after spending a decent amount of time on my MacBook Air today, things seem to be behaving correctly once again. Gonna keep an eye on this, though.

Happens on 11.0.1 on and off for me. Sometimes it just doesn't update and I need to restart Messages.

The more Apple grows and expands, the worse they become. Blargh.

This delay has been an intermittent problem for me since the upgrade to Big Sur. I have noticed it on all the versions, 11.0.1, 11.1, and 11.2. Sending an iMessage forces the sync, and you'll notice the blue progress bar stall as there seems to be a reconnection happening.
