  • When a new macOS release comes out, all issues automatically go to "Untested Issues" until they are moved by someone. Issues that stay in Untested for 3 releases (beta or smooth) will be removed from all future threads. When there is a new macOS release, please be sure to let us know about the issue's status by moving it to either "Remaining Issues" or "Resolved Issues"
  • macOS 14 Sonoma will be installed via a Delta Update in System Settings. Please be aware about this and the update won’t install with an installer.
  • macOS 14 is officially supported on the following devices. If your device is not listed below, it has unfortunately been dropped by Apple. Any efforts of trying to get your Mac running macOS 14, including bugs should be discussed in this thread.

There appears to be a new Tapback reaction row in the right-click options menu in Messages:

Intel System Firmware updated to 2020.41.1.0.0 (was 2020.40.3.0.0 in beta 2)

iBridgeOS updated to 21.16.1066.5.1,0 (was 21.16.1056.5.4,0 in beta 2)

Speedometer 2.1 results same as beta 2

Beta 3 seems to be running slower on older Intel 2018 MBA, strange.. even after reboot.. well its only a 256 GB SSD..

I’m losing hope that existing .saver Screensaver types will be supported in the future. Apple’s spent all Summer touting their Apple TV Screensavers on their Macs, but they’ve neglected issues with their current settings for using their own Photos App to randomly cycle thru your own photos for Wallpaper (FB12202204), which now doesn’t work.
And my regular Screensaver now causes my Mac’s CPU to spike and also use up a lot of memory. And they’re calling it a “Legacy” Screensaver now.

Maybe Apple is making a new screen saver file that could be consistent with iOS/ipados/tvos/macos? Who knows.

Just rebooted my 2018 Intel Mac mini on 14.1b3 and although I'm happy that all of my External Drives mounted properly and relatively quickly, I'm now seeing this when opening the Apple Mail app after it appears to be trying to do an import

I'vw got nearly 500GB of free space. Gonna have to search it up..

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
