Did the update break 1Pasword 8 for anyone else? Trying to launch it gives the following error now...

EDIT: A re-install of 1Pasword fixed it....

Could anyone please share what are the calendar and reminders notifications' snooze options (remind me in an hour, remind me tomorrow etc) in Sonoma?

Wouldn’t they add the ringtones to macOS? It’s a .mp3 file and a few attributes lol
The new ringtones are actually in RC2… but Messages and FaceTime don’t seem to recognize that they exist.
But navigating to the folder where the ringtones are stored shows that all of the new iOS17 files are included

true, they ARE all there (and they are m4r files, even smaller than mp3s). so it IS a good question: why aren't they available? and perhaps they will be soon?

Where are the files? I don't know where the ringtones are stored in macOS.

was this something promised? just curious...
I've never seen it mentioned anywhere, either, but for years now I've been able to side load tons of my own ringtones and alert sounds and they Apple'magically through iCloud Backups move on from device to device and even transfer to my iPad without any prompt or initialization on my part. They just show up. One would hope it could be just as simple for them to sync over to a much more powerful computer. Just my two cents, anyway 😉

FB13199138, Screen turns off when opening the lid, looks like WindowServer crashes, MacOS 14.0 RC2, MBA M2

So bad :(
Although I'm still seeing major issues with Widgets crashing, among a number of other ongoing issues, I'm not having this issue on my M1 MBP.

i still have my custom ringtones in the Music app; not visible there, but syncs over to my iphone. agreed, tho, that, if the new ringtones are on the mac, they should be accessible. hopefully at some point...

I bit the bullet and did a DFU restore install of the RC2 IPSW file on my M2 Air to give my machine as clean a start as possible.

Using it just like ventura with no fancy screensavers or desktop widgets (so so ugly) i cant say ive had any issues whatsoever. Battery life and performance seem the same as Ventura 13.5/6 any no weird sheninagans.

I did update my M2 pro 14 as well via system update, cant say ive seen the same stability on that machine. Might just wipe it and do over.

How'd it go? Did you use the Apple Configurator app with another Mac? I've been tempted to do that, I normally create a USB installer from the downloaded .pkg file, but the last update to their Dev Seed (or PB Seed) was whatever beta was released on August 31, was that beta 8? Definitely not the RC let alone RC2. I've always had good fortune booting from a a USB installer to reinstall macOS but haven't yet tried the Apple Configurator way.

It just...worked. Took about 20 mins. Yes i used the Apple Configurator app on my M2 Pro 14 to flash my Air. Interestingly when i finished the post install setup, the feedback assistant isnt there and the screen sharing and printer thing app were in the default "other" launchpad folder rather than popping up as new apps from a ventura install. So far so good.
