Hey Peeps!

Just done a clean installation of macOS 11.4 via internet recovery on my Mac Pro (Late 2013).

When going through setup I entered my relevant Apple ID email and Password.

In macOS Mojave, once I would get to the stage where you create an account name and password, it would automatically have the photo associated to my Apple ID as the macOS user account photo.

When I was installing macOS Big Sur it only offers the default macOS photo options so I just chose one of those.

Does anyone know how I could get my Apple ID photo as my login photo?

Thanks!

Thanks @Apple_Robert

Sorry…my question should have probably been…where can I locate the Apple ID photo file on my Mac?

Cheers!
The following (older post) may still be applicable in Big Sur.

Thanks @Apple_Robert

I had a quick look through that post, but in the end I took a different approach.

I logged into iCloud via Google Chrome on my Android phone. I was then able to download the photo associated with my Apple ID by long pressing.

I haven't tried to set it as my account photo yet but will let you know how it goes.

Quick Update...

I managed to change my macOS account login picture following the instructions on the Apple website, pretty much identical to what @Apple_Robert suggested previously.

If anyone knows of any other ways to locate the Apple ID photo file on macOS Big Sur that would be great also.

Thanks!
