macOS Big Sur Version 11.0.1 EPIC browser crash

I just installed mac Big Sur Version 11.0.1 and noticed my Epic Browser keeps crashing. This is the only macOS Epic has crashed on. I have run it opening 1 or 2 tabs and as I am typing on a page, it crashes. I go back to Epic sidebar, access the app and have to restore page, fortunately is still there. Other times it completely crashes and I have to start fresh!

Thanks for that info. I use Epic but have not updated to Big Sur yet. I'm waiting for 11.1 before I make the leap.

Epic uses the chromium engine so I'm surprised it's crashing. Have you tried using Chrome which has been updated for Big Sur?

Same here, Epic browser keeps crashing since updating to Big Sur

Upgraded to Big Sur this morning. Epic crashed immediately. Tried to reinstall via the App Store and it say that Epic is not compatible with my device. I am on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) build
Pocessor Name: Quad-Core Intel Core i7, Processor Speed: 2.9 GHz, Memory: 16 GB

Update: My bad clicked on the phone link instead of downloading. Downloaded the newest version which I had but reinstalled. that did not work. I then relaunched and rest epic to defaults via the epic preferences tab. It now appears to be working at least on Facebook. Have not really tried anything else and not done a lot of browsing on FB but it appears to be not crashing right away

Just updated to Big Sur, Mac OS 11; using the latest version of Epic
86.0.4240.111 (Official Build) (64-bit). It is a bit unstable. At first Epic would crash immediately after opening, now it's hanging in there a bit better but still somewhat crashy. I know Epic doesn't have an epic budget but some attention to OS 11 compatibility appears to be in order.

Epic Privacy Browser 91.0.4472.114 crashes after downloading for the first time such application, installing and trying to open in macOS 12.3.1 (21E258) Monterey. Since the first time that I tried to open it. Frustrating!
