Apple released the new macOS 10.15.6 supplemental update today (19G2531) after the last one arrived back in August. Today’s update includes fixes for an iCloud Drive issue that prevented files from syncing properly as well as squashing a bug that prevented Macs from automatically connecting to WiFi networks

I'm not seeing this update except as a beta.

Update saw 9to5mac had this image that shows it a beta, but its title doesn't denote that.

I went to the 9to5mac article, clicked on the link in the article. That took me to a page like what @Realityck posted, logged into my developer account but there is no download button and when I clicked on macOS Catalina 10.15.6 (19G2531) it takes me to another page and there is nothing listed on the page about the supplemental update. Must be the case that it got removed.

FAKE NEWS, not a public update. I mean hopefully it'll eventually be a REAL release for those iCloud fixes but boo on MacRumors for not fact-checking hard enough. They've removed the article on it as far as I can tell.

I suspect this was released but they ran into a problem and pulled it. Some people on Reddit claim to have gotten it yesterday.

All in all, if it has a major bug I'd rather NOT get it!

I just started my new 2020 iMac, and got notification to update. Im now running 10.15.6 View attachment 952053
10.15.6 has been out for several weeks. There has been a supplemental update and now a second is apparently forthcoming, which is what's covered in this thread. If you click on the "Version 10.15.6" text, you'll get a number like "Version 10.15.6 (19G2021)".

I am presently running a laptop with this beta that was downloaded last evening. If you're not a dev, you need to be a Public Beta tester to get this.

MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 Supplemental Update beta you should see when installing
on Apple Developers News its macOS Catalina 10.15.6 (19G2531)

There was never a Mac Rumors article that was removed, I created this thread to show it existed.

Maybe a little off topic but Safari beta for Catalina has been updated as well recently. Very smooth and fast, love it.
