Hello,
I could really do with some help. I have never posted here before and recently asked the following question via "Apple Communities" without resolution. I hope I am posting in the correct place, pease feel free to forward/move this to anywhere more specific.
I’ve been trying to setup an iMac Mid-2010 21.5" 3.06Ghz with macOS High Sierra, yet when I try to open any application downloaded from the App Store it “quits unexpectedly”. I have attached a screenshot of this. I have tried all different versions of High Sierra so it is not happening to just one particular version. The issue does not occur on El Capitan and Sierra (I tested both of these separately to determine if it’s the computer or software and it seems to be software related?)
Here is the breakdown of one of the error messages which happens to every single App Store application:

I have already tried erasing and restoring through disk utility and it makes no difference.
Has anyone experienced this before, is there a solution, and can anyone see what’s causing the issue in the report notes? (I don't really understand these things)
Thank you in advance
