I created a few rules to redirect spam sent to me back to the sender (they refuse to stop sending me spam). When it redirects, the second step in the rule is to delete the message.

None of them are showing up in my sent folder. Is this expected behavior? Wanted to make sure they are all sent (well, some spam is redirected to the CEO of the respective company that won't honor unsubscribe requests).

Just a guess here: try looking in Trash. The mails might be threading, so when the parent message deletes, might be deleting the reply as well.

I'd change the delete step to a move to temp/dummy mailbox (or remove the delete step), to see what's going on (ie. moving the sent as well?).
