Hi,
I just updated my MacBook Pro from catlina to Monterey and the scrolling animation is not smooth, feels like 40fps and not 60fps
How can I fix it?

I had this same issue. Restarting fixed it and its smooth as glass now.

My Safari def feels laggy compared to before. Only benefit I've noticed so far to upgrading is its much quicker to boot up. I have an M1 Air base model.

Visual Designer lagging in Monterey:
We have a mid 2010 Mac Pro 5,1 dual (x5690 CPUs) running Monterey under OpenCore v6.0. This machine is using 1 TB NVMe Boot, 96 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, and Radeon 6800 GPU (flashed for MacOS) to LG Dual-up monitor (2880 x 2560 resolution). No problems with other software as far as I have been able to discover.
But Visual Designer, is lagging horribly.
I notice from various fora that other visual design applications have similar problems in Monterey on officially supported Mac machines, so I do not think this is caused by the OpenCore workarounds.
I hope someone can help with this.
