Gotta admit, your reasoning makes sense. GM released on event day, giving people a week or so to test, then the final release a week later. That's a likely chain of events. Didn't last year's November event see the GM of Big Sur being dropped, then the actual release about a week later?

With that said, your title might come across as a bit misleading—people will think it's for real.

It's gonna happen. Folks will be looking for me on that day as I disappear like a fart in the wind.

and if the 25th or 26th are not windy days? will you 'linger like a fart on a windless day'? 🤣

it will be fair to say that my post will be rotten stench that day if my comments are untrue. Fortunately, Apple will not change this date as my post is low radar and wheels are already set in motion.

My Macbook pro just updated to 12.0.1. Do I have to remove the Beta Developer profile now to stay on 12.0.1? I do not want to participate the beta program anymore.
