Hello Mac & Apple friends.

Is there an app that can know, once you buy an SSD (SATA internal or M.2 NVME or AHCI). There are, sadly techniques that say a certain SSD has this much capacity but sometimes it's really just half or less. There are also straight fakes that use the name of say Crucial, or Samsung or Sandisk and other branded companies.

Also, any app, macOS or Windows (preferably free) that'll truly know if the speed is close to the advertised speed and if each cell is not corrupted?

Thank you.

God bless, Rev. 21:4

While I'm sure there are (though someone else will have to chime in), always make sure to buy products like these from reputable dealers with good return policies. Buying from a good retailer is probably the best way to ensure you don't get ripped off on a counterfeit product.
