Picture this, you make lots of adjustment then edit in multiple external editors or extensions, you realise one edit was bad and you want to go back to that state to redo it but you can only go right back to the original using "revert to original"
It would be great if macOS photos had the option to view previous edits instead of just reverting to original if you edit in an external editor. A way around this is of course to duplicate the photo at each stage (taking snapshots) to revert back to if required.
This post is referring to when editing using the numerous external plugins. Perhaps someone could even make an extension for this.
