Hey guys,
I have been having a bit of a weird issue since beta and I've done countless clean installs of Catalina since it's official release attempting to fix this.
I have a 2013 iMac being used in Target display mode to add a display to a 2017 iMac 5k which I use strictly for work. I do remote into the 2013 iMac for messages and playing music while I work (since my main machine is locked down for work). I noticed the sound cutting out every so often, when I take a look at the sound preferences I see the mute toggle go on and off every so often, cutting out the sound. It practically flickers on and off randomly. This does not happen if I use the iMac without target display mode.
I tried clean installs of macOS Catalina and I've tried PRAM and SMC resets. Can't find anything online so I'm taking a shot and see if anyone has experienced the issue here and may have a fix.
Thanks in advanced.
