Hi,

I just installed Big Sur Beta 10 on both my Mac mini and my MacBook Pro and when I enter MacOS Recovery partition by pressing CMD + R, all I get is a grey screen with my pointer. So it does enter but then nothing happens. Anyone else got this problem?

Same here - can no longer boot into recovery.
b10 also broke some USB MIDI drivers (something changed in the .kext here).I rolled back to b9 & all is good again.

Eeeek. Working here thankfully. Had to use it a few times yesterday to shut SIP on and off trying to get VirtualBox installed, and just used it again about 20 minutes ago to First Aid my MacHD (some of my AudioUnits are showing up as folders instead of bundles now).

same here actually. How did you manage to fix those?

Havent been able to yet. My whole SoundToys bundle and my Arturia plugins are all folders now, but they seem to work fine in Logic and Wavelab at least. It freaked me out but I processed a couple things last night after I noticed it in Wavelab with Decapitator and it still works as it should. Ive tried messing with the extension too but removing and re-adding .component to it didn't do anything either. Maybe the devs missed a creator/content/bundle type flag or something when they built it? Tried reinstalling all of them as well with no luck. Every other Audio Unit is still a little bundle though.

Is that actually working for you?
