Remaining Issues

• Alarms may not play when your display is asleep for a long period of time (FB10086690)
  • Workaround: Make your display not fall asleep in Settings > Lock Screen > Turn display off on ____ when inactive. You can turn your brightness off.
  • Issue present since macOS 13.0
• General Bluetooth reliability issues (mouse and keyboard lag, audio lag, audio distortion) with 3rd party and Apple accessories per reports on Reddit and elsewhere.

Additional Notes

• Please know, Memory Management has always been an issue on any OS (not just Apple's). If you believe there is a Memory Leak, please go to the Apple Menu > Restart > Restart to fix it.
• When a new macOS release comes out, all issues automatically go to "Untested Issues" until they are moved by someone. Issues that stay in Untested for 3 releases (beta or smooth) will be removed from all future threads. When there is a new macOS release, please be sure to let us know about the issue's status by moving it to either "Remaining Issues" or "Resolved Issues"
• macOS 15 Sequoia will be installed via a Delta Update in System Settings. Please be aware about this and the update won’t install with an installer.
• macOS 15 is officially supported on the following devices. If your device is not listed below, it has unfortunately been dropped by Apple. Any efforts of trying to get your Mac running macOS 15, including bugs should be discussed in this thread.

Find My is still not finding people on my 2019 Intel iMac. I didn't expect my Intel Mac to run all of Sequoia's features, but I did expect the new OS to run everything Sonoma did. I was wrong.

But its only when I am doing very intensive stuff like Xcode.

Play a web video with Picture in Picture​

1. Go to the Safari app
   
   on your Mac.
2. Navigate to the web video you want to play. Start playing the embedded video.
3. Click and hold
   
   in the Smart Search field or in a tab.
4. Choose Enter Picture in Picture.
   You can drag the window to any corner of the screen and the window stays put, even if you switch desktop spaces. You can resize the window to see more or less of what’s behind it. Click
   
   to close the Picture in Picture window.

Yes, I know about this feature, but this is there some time already. I tought this would be automatic - when I watch YouTube and change tab, PIP will enable automatically.

It does do automatic PiP once you start Video Viewer for the tab, but there doesn't seem to be anyway to start the view automatically for website. It would be nice if they added this just like you can automatically set Reader mode for a website. See attached video.

Hmm, Find My seems to be working OK on my iMac Pro: 15.1 (24B82)

15.1RC2 has been rock solid on my Studio M1 Ultra. It fixed a sleep issue introduced with 15.0
