• There is now the option to show Weather in Menu Bar. It consists of a symbol for the current weather, like a cloud and the current temperature for the set/actual location. When you click on it, it shows the 5 hour weather and other locations from you Favorites to select, also with a symbol and current temperature. It's all uncolored. Go to System Settings/Control Center and then to the very bottom to activate it.
• When you have "Low Power Mode" in the Menu Bar and click on it, it now shows a big dot in your accent color when it's activated. The Big dot has now a Lightning in it since Beta 3.

• Time Machine causes kernel panics - if you experience this issue either unplug the drive or set TM to run manually. NOTE - seems to be a beta 2 issue

Remaining Issues

• Alarms may not play when your display is asleep for a long period of time (FB10086690)
  • Workaround: Make your display not fall asleep in Settings > Lock Screen > Turn display off on ____ when inactive. You can turn your brightness off.
  • Issue present since macOS 13.0
• General Bluetooth reliability issues (mouse and keyboard lag, audio lag, audio distortion) with 3rd party and Apple accessories per reports on Reddit and elsewhere.

• Please know, Memory Management has always been an issue on any OS (not just Apple's). If you believe there is a Memory Leak, please go to the Apple Menu > Restart > Restart to fix it.
• When a new macOS release comes out, all issues automatically go to "Untested Issues" until they are moved by someone. Issues that stay in Untested for 3 releases (beta or smooth) will be removed from all future threads. When there is a new macOS release, please be sure to let us know about the issue's status by moving it to either "Remaining Issues" or "Resolved Issues"
• macOS 15 Sequoia will be installed via a Delta Update in System Settings. Please be aware about this and the update won’t install with an installer.
• macOS 15 is officially supported on the following devices. If your device is not listed below, it has unfortunately been dropped by Apple. Any efforts of trying to get your Mac running macOS 15, including bugs should be discussed in this thread.

Image Playground is not working anymore for me. After downloading new assets and then a message about "certain capabilities not available" now it takes me to the creation UI but nothing comes from the dreams bubble.

EDIT: just after sending this message it started generating at the same speed as expected

Installed fine - No issues with my Intel NcMP 7,1, but Character Viewer is not working.

Well, I do have another issue. Clicking on a link in Gmail in the new Safari (V18.2) is now very sluggish. And, sometimes (because of the long wait time), I need to cancel the operation and click on the link a second time.

Yep! Pressing "fn" (or ctrl-cmd-space or direct from the relevalt "Edit" menu) opens the emoji picker again. It didn't work in B2.

The black display after sleep seems to be fixed for me. Not 100% sure yet, because the display hasn't really slept since I updated. I just tried it with a few times sending it to sleep manually right now.

Seems I just started getting this one, when waking up from screen saver, its black display with mouse, have to close lid and open to get it back...

Some apps doesn't work anymore since Beta 3. And I get those strange error messages. I think only browsers are affected until now like LibreWolf, Seamonkey and Slimjet. Maybe there was also something else I forgot. I just try to launch all apps again.

I removed them completely with everything in the Libraries too and reinstalled them. It doesn't help.

Could someone please try one of them if it's not only me? Because I sometimes do strange things. 🙃

My Logitech G502 Mouse scroll wheel stopped working after updating.

No problems here with Logitech M100. I just tested it. Normally I use another mouse.

it totally random for me it seems, but closing the lid and opening it brings the screen back

Mac mini 2018 8,1 with 15.2 beta 3 does not connect to an HP MFP on the network. Can't print or scan. The printer entry appears in Sys Settings > Printers, status is offline. It was working with the last public release. Restarting both Mac and printer did not fix it.

Deleting it and recreating didn't work either, and now can't find it on the network. Connected to the router by ethernet, i.e. not wifi.

edit later: Recreated it successfully. Had to tell macOS Sys Settings > Printers the MFP's static IP address and select protocol 'AirPrint' from the IP printer setup dialog drop-down list to get the scanning feature recognized. All is now online and working. I'm guessing the problem was caused by the mac's firewall settings being changed by the beta 3 install but I haven't confirmed that yet.

I'll take it back. The screen staying black bug isn't fixed for me. I always have to press a key, what I set for display sleep/wake 3 or 4 times to get it back on.

It doesn't happen when I get logged out. Then the key wouldn't work because the app where I set it is not running yet.

I think the AppStore method doesn't work if it's already installed. I downloaded it and it's not there. Trying Terminal now.

Nromally I always got the direct package links from that website, but he seems to be busy somehow and is always behind:

The Installer is not called Beta, so it seems to be something else.

But If you don't have it installed yet AppStore and Terminal should work.

I can only see the installer was built on 24C5079a. So the Beta before. Has to be the right link to Beta 3.

Lately I think since Beta 3 my second Keyboard stops working suddenly after hours of usage. The backlight is still on, but I can't type anything anymore and I have to pull the plug and put it in again.

I forgot to test if the Magic Keyboard is also affected. That is only connected for TouchID.

This problem was already there in earlier betas especially when I didn't use the Roccat instead of the Logitech Mouse.
At first I thought it is the USB-Plug (it also works with BT), but now all three are connected by cable and Bluetooth is turned off.

Today it happened two or three times and also yesterday. But the Roccat Mouse is connected longer. Could be I changed ports on the Hub. But nothing else really changed. But the Beta is only a few days old...

I am trying now if it will happen again with the Logitech mouse.

Did anyone else experience something like this? The last time a few people were here, that had the same problem.
