APPLE-SA-03-11-2025-3 macOS Sequoia 15.3.2

macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 addresses the following issues.
Information about the security content is also available at
https://support.apple.com/122283.

Apple maintains a Security Releases page at
https://support.apple.com/100100 which lists recent
software updates with security advisories.

WebKit
Available for: macOS Sequoia
Impact: Maliciously crafted web content may be able to break out of Web
Content sandbox. This is a supplementary fix for an attack that was
blocked in iOS 17.2. (Apple is aware of a report that this issue may
have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack against
specific targeted individuals on versions of iOS before iOS 17.2.)
Description: An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved
checks to prevent unauthorized actions.
WebKit Bugzilla: 285858
CVE-2025-24201: Apple

macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 may be obtained from the Mac App Store or Apple's
Software Downloads web site: https://support.apple.com/downloads/

All information is also posted on the Apple Security Releases
web site: https://support.apple.com/100100.

Hi! I have a MacBook Air M1 version. Ever since upgrading to Sequoia, my screen time for the Mac has been unrealistic. I just opened my MacBook Air M1 to do some work and within minutes minute it shows that my ScreenTime is 20HR+, I haven’t evens been up for so that long. 😂 anyone has idea of what is going on?

14 March 2025 Same problem persists
MacOS 15.3.2

A bug with not working shortcut to iCloud when making right mouse click on Settings icon in Dock is not fixed. Happened to me after updating to 15.3.1 from the latest Sonoma build.

Another bug/issue not solved for years:

If you're using an iPhone or iPad with iCloud Photos and have Optimize Storage turned on, some photos or videos might not be available for import into Photos on your Mac.

So, if I want to import 500-1000-10000 photos from my relative/friend's iPhone to Photos.app library, I can't do it. Shared albums is not an option, because they significantly lower image/video quality:

Shared Album limits

Shared Albums upload a copy of your data. Downloaded content may not contain the same information as the original.

When shared, photos are reduced to 2048 pixels on the long edge, except panoramic photos, which can be up to 5400 pixels wide. You can share GIFs that are 100MB or smaller. Shared Albums do not support spatial photo or video.

Videos can be up to fifteen minutes in length and are delivered at up to 720p resolution.
AirDrop fails when multiple files are sent (100-200) :(

Tested my programs on 15.3.2 on Intel and Apple Silicon and everything works. So no problems for me so far.

I usually update on a testing machine before upgrading my production systems but I was feeling lucky this morning.

I just moved from the latest Sonoma release and my machine feels so slow now.

I wanted to have iOS and macOS in sync but this is like a couple of beta releases almost.

@bousozoku What machine do you use? I've been pretty reluctant to update for the last couple of years. I usually wait for Apple to release a new version and then upgrade to the penultimate version. However, I'm thinking to upgrade my M3 Air to Sequoia…

I've got a loaded M1 MacBook Air.

I usually wait but with the new phone, I decided to update everything to the latest. Sonoma was really steady but it feels as though Sequoia is still a beta release, and I haven't run any of those since Mac OS X 10.0.0.
