Hello All,
I have updated my 4,1 Mac Pro (Firmware flashed to 5,1) to the latest Sierra build (Gold Master). I am running a GTX 760 via HDMI to my 21:9 monitor. Originally when I had El Capitan I wasn't using the nVidia web driver due to the fact it would not let me display in 21:9. I was using the OS X driver since it seemed to be working fine. Now since I have updated I can no longer get the Mac to display in 2560x1080. It will only display in 1920x1080 no matter if I use the nVidia driver or the OS driver. It was working fine when using the El Capitan driver so I am wondering if apple has dropped native nVidia support. That also wouldn't explain why the nVidia web driver won't allow me to output in 2560x1080.
I am currently using the latest nVidia web driver that is supported under Sierra. (I forget the actual build number)
Has anyone else been able to remedy this?
Thanks!
