Hello. I wanted to write this because I haven't seen anyone else experiencing this kind of problem. When restarting, in 50% of cases, if the Wi-Fi is active, the Wi-Fi goes into 'Self-assigned IP' mode, and this issue usually gets resolved after turning the Wi-Fi off and on at most twice. I sometimes encounter the same type of problems when waking up the computer. These situations sometimes occur randomly and, for some reason, when the Wi-Fi is in this state, it affects the sound coming from Bluetooth (Airpods Pro first gen and Beats Studio 3), causing sound glitches. This issue was present before, but it continues even after I removed all filtering applications. I tried creating a new location, deleted all saved Wi-Fi networks, deleted network services, manually deleted files in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ and restarted, but the problems persist. I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. By the way, I had no problems with Ventura. M2 MBP 13" by the way. Thanks in advance.

Note: It always says error <time> bluetoothd A2DP packet flushed: L2CAP (chip) flush occured. Current sequence=<sth>, timestamp=<sth> in Console app while the stutter is happening. Flawless in Ventura as I said before.

Hi, I have the same issue with the release version of Sonoma. I'm not sure it didn't happen with the security update before that. I'm experiencing erratic mouse movements, and glitches when I use my headphones. When I trace circles with the mouse, the cursor jumps here and there every second. This only happens when the Mac is connected to the Wifi. It doesn't matter whether only the mouse or the headphones are connected, as soon as I connect to the Wifi there are Bluetooth issues. I tested with 2 different mice and 4 different pairs of headphones. I used the "Erase all content and settings" feature to start fresh but the problem still persists.

hi I'm having the same issues here and it's getting unbearable now with the bluetooth audio stuttering issues. In my case ALL bluetooth devices seem to lock up for some millisecs if they are in use. Same error in the Console as @validate when the stutter occurs. If I was moving the bluetooth mouse (Logical MX Any 2S) at the time of the stutter, the mouse will veer off the screen. If I am typing at the time (Apple Magic Keyboard), the keys will stop printing to screen momentarily and then printed all at once (literally happened a few times as I was typing this)

A few things to note
  • Only happens when using my Bose QC headphones connected. I don't get the issue while using cheaper ones like the Sony WF-C700N
  • Macbook seems to be trying to get in ear status from the Bose headphones (see error below), despite not being an Airpod? Isn't AACP (Is Apple Audio Connection Protocol) assuming that's only for Apple, can't find much info about it as regular bluetooth profile

Code:
A2DP packet flushed: L2CAP (chip) flush occured
getInEarStatus: No AACP connection for <Bose QC headphones' mac address>
