macOS Sonoma 14 randomly reboots my iMac m1. After the reboot I get this report. This happens every day. Do you have this problem? Is Apple aware of this issue?

My report:

I am not the only one facing this problem:

When I used macOS Ventura there was no such problem.

I'm having the exact same issue with Sonoma.

It's always `identityservices` that is listed as the panicked task.

I was getting these every single day without fail, but now I'm logging out and back in again on a morning to stop this from happening randomly whilst I'm working, so far I've only had it happen a few times overnight.

The longer I'm logged in without logging out or rebooting, the more frequently this happens; maybe a memory leak somewhere.

I'm not sure if I'm getting the same report, but I installed Sonoma last week, and since then, I get random shut downs and restarts. I can't think of having done anything differently, other than installing Sonoma.

Yep... same issue. My M1 MBAir was incredibly stable under Ventura. With Sonoma, it's been constant reboots. The recovery is fast, but it is aggravating and disappointing. And yes, the longer it stays on, the more likely it'll crash. I used to be able to sleep, disconnect from my USB dock, and just keep going when I opened it up again. Now it's a guessing game whether the computer will bomb. I'm hoping that the latest update 14.1.1 fixes it, but I'm not holding my breath.

Turning off widgets from iPhone in system settings has completely stopped this from happening for me.
