MacOS volume slider?

This might just me my problem but I'm sort of annoyed by the default volume square thing. Is there a way to change it to a more sleek windows-like slider?

Check out the control center. You can have a volume slider there.

That’s one way, but you can do it in Big Sur via the control center.

You could also go to System Preferences > Sound and check "Show volume in menu bar". That will give you a volume slider when you click the little speaker in the menu bar.
