Don't forget the 8-core PowerMac based on those brand new quad-core Conroe chips.

Sort of like a rotting zombie, just wait it'll move and bring the stink to where you are sitting.

It always takes them weeks to notice the site is down. Then they blame it on someone else dowsing the servers, car accidents, money problems, etc.

Never take anything they say seriously. I mean, I pretty much assume if they say it, it's not gonna happen.

The only reason I'd ever read it would be to get a good laugh ;).

Were they ever relevant?

Back in '99, I remember they were the best Mac rumors site out there.

Then something happened (there was talk that they lost their inside source) and it was never the same.

I distinctly remember them breaking the Cube story when it was a pipedream on most other rumors sites, and then Think Secret followed - and even then, most Mac fans were saying, "Yeah, right! A cube? No way!"

Also, even though they (and everyone else) refer to themselves as "they," I think it's just one poor soul who runs things there.
