Anyone Have the anodized aluminum mousepad from them? Is it any good?

MacPadd a scam?

I'd be really careful ordering a MacPadd. Like many others I ordered a MacPadd Pro thinking it looked like a great product. I paid via PayPal and I have been waiting seven months for delivery and have not received it yet. The company will not reply to email messages nor answer their phone.

I just received mine yesterday from OtherWorld Computing (OWC). First impressions are that it looks very nice, and compliments the look of my imac and keyboard, but it's taking a little time to get used to moving the magic mouse around on the aluminum. It's a little "noisier" than an ordinary felt pad or even a bare desktop and I'm wondering if the MacPadd will eventually develop scratches as a result. As to the problems with shipping, none for me from OWC; I placed the order Sunday afternoon and tracking info was up Monday morning, right up until it got to my door on Thursday. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

Yeah I order it from OWC, I received it within 2 days from ordering. It goes very nice with the 27" iMac and wireless keyboard!

The only thing that is holding me from buying it is the "noise" that gets generated every time you move the mouse over it. Otherwise, it is a good compliment for any Mac :D

Yeah but you don't even hear it once you get use to it.

I am one of the lucky ones that has not received the Macpadd ordered from Macpadd.com. Did I say lucky, oops I mean unlucky. It's been over a month and I do not have my padd, despite many email requests for tracking numbers or anything. I have received answers to several of my emails but no action. i have notified PayPal and started the resolution process. I will post if I have any results.

"patent pending." LOL. Long way to go from filing an app to getting a patent.

What's the application number, big guy? I searched the USPTO PAIR system, the CIPO system, and the WIPO PCT database, and find no patent applications relating to mousepads with David Free as the named inventor, and I'd like to see what you've filed an application on.
