Macpro 1,1 and hdmi? processor upgrade+protools

I've just bought a Macpro 1,1 dual core woodcrest 3.0.
I'd like to get a cheap 32" tv and hook up hdmi up to the mac does this old macpro support hdmi?

I see that people are upgrading their 1,1 macpros, does upgrading the processor work ok with protools?
Protools is picky so I'd thought I'd check it out.
Cheap and stable processor upgrades?

Depends what GPU you have but it should at least have DVI so a DVI to HDMI adapter will work (costs like 5$). You will need another cable for audio though.

X5355s are pretty cheap in eBay. You can find a matched pair for less than 400$, e.g. this
