I've tried searching but I'm failing to find what I'm asking.

I've swapped in an nVidia GT620 2Gb video card and it works as expected, as in no Apple logo at boot which is fine. What also doesn't work is sleep, or rather it wont wake from sleep. My work around is to simply turn off the Mac.

I still have the 7300GT however. I've run w/ both cards at once and I've even tried to configure my dual monitors so that the larger 24" runs off the 620 and my secondary 19" runs off the 7300 but somehow I manage to end up with 2 "second" monitors. By that I mean when I run both monitors off one card and configure different wallpapers when I run both monitors on both cards I get the second screen wall paper on both.

So the questions are, can I run both cards each driving the correct monitor and also regain the ability to wake from sleep?

I have a 1,1 using a GT430, and I don't set system sleep at all (never) but I allow the monitor to shut off (standby) mine will not wake with just the mouse, but if I wiggle the mouse and then hit space bar it wakes. My understanding is the GT 6xx is similar to the GT 4xx. I can't say much about the dual config because I don't use it, but try the space bar wake and see if it works

I can get what your talking about to work but I'd like to be able to actually sleep the system. If it comes to it I might go your way.

Thanks
