Yeah, I've perused the forums, but I'm not really finding what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for the best aftermarket video card for a MacPro 1.1 that will just plug and run. While I certainly have the tech skills for rom flashes, kext mods, etc, I frankly am not overly interested in screwing with it. Not to mention a scenario where it works now but has to be redone or breaks on the next OSX patch. I'm on the edge of getting rid of the machine as my flipping Mini and both laptops will out geekbench it, so I'm not looking to invest a world of time or effort in it. Sorry for not being geeky enough for the geek club
Essentially what I'm looking for is that other than buying a card from Apple, were I to walk onto say oh, Best Buy, or browse NewEgg, exactly what is out there that simply works like a factory card without having to jump through hoops to get it to do so?
Thanks.
Thanks.
