Looking to upgrade a 3,1 MP for use with Davinci Resolve. Will be using a GTX 570 as the GPU without monitor output; looking for the BEST card I can use to drive displays that doesn't require any aux power. The 570 will eat any power budget I have - so I've got to be thrifty.

Still not a bad card for what it is worth..

You're J/K right? I'm not trying to downplay the successes of the community - but there are countless middle-of-the-road cards out there that eat it for lunch and cost next to nothing for retail versions. I totally appreciate and understand there's a cost associated with the time spent to make the cards work, so I know why the GT120 gets priced the way it does. However, nothin' else? The 9500GT benchmarks no better than a 9800 from the G5 days.

Yes it is. Terrible card. Can draw pixels OK. That's about it. Weaker than the laptop cards they sold at the time. But if you can't dip into PSU for power not much else to get. 1x6-pin would work for an 8800GT. That is a much faster card but they die suddenly and are 6 years old.

not joking.. talking about a official card that does not need extra power...
