Hello all,

After reading numerous articles here, I still cannot find a way successfully install Mojave and Windows 10 on NVMe drives that are installed on Sonnet M.2 4x4 PCIe Card. I hope you may be able to help.

My setup:
  • MacPro 5,1 (2010)
  • 12 Cores
  • GPU: Radeon RX580
  • Sonnet M.2 4x4 PCIe Card (Silent) - Newest 2020 version
  • Samsung Evo Plus 950 NVMe M.2 on Sonnet M.2 4x4 PCIe Card
  • Samsung 950 Pro NVMe M.2 on Sonnet M.2 4x4 PCIe Card
  • Hybrid SATA drive with Mojave Mac OS installed.
  • Bootrom version is 144.0.0.0.0
I can successfully boot Mojave from hybrid SATA drive with Sonnet card installed on MacPro and see all NVMe drives. I can format them and use. It works fine this way. However, I cannot install Mojave or Windows 10 on any NVMe drives. As soon as I insert USB or CD to install Mojave from USB to NVMe drives or Windows 10 from CD, MacPro is not booting up. At start and while pressing "C" button on keyboard, I can hear a normal MacPro booting longer beeping sound. Then, MacPro gives me only shorter beeping sounds forever. It does no go anywhere from there. I created all bootable media as was suggested here, all through Terminal.

Please recommend or point to a solution to successfully install Mojave/Win10 on NVMe drives with Sonnet M.2 4x4 PCIe Card. Any advice is highly appreciated!
