Macro issue: runtime error 5948

Really hoping someone can help me...and hope this is the correct forum to post this in.

I'm trying to add PPT slides to a Word doc (.dotm) and am getting this error: "Run-time error '5948': This command is not available on this platform." The macro is "addslides."

I'm on Word for Mac, version 16.67.
My Mac is running: macOS Monterey, version 12.6.

The document was created on a PC.

Other macros in the document work, but not this one, which is the most important.

I re-downloaded the document thinking maybe it was corrupted. I've googled how to fix the problem...none of the info helped.

I'm not well-versed in macros or coding, so please walk me through any instructions...much appreciated!

I’m not sure if "embed a PowerPoint slide in a Word document" is available on Mac
