Got me wondering. I shoot a LOT of macro photos with my cameras but never really gave the S3 a try. So I just shot this...not too bad. Seems to be far better than the examples posted in that thread.

Anyone have some cool ones? This one, not so cool. Just was a test.

Just a quick shot of the closest thing near me on marco settings. Lighting was pretty low.

LOL unless that thing is like half an inch tall, that isn't what macro is for.

Oh so that's what marco means ........ I thought it was just some way of turning auto focus off. My bad :eek:

hahaha

Yea, it's for shooting very close to the subject. Like less than a foot away, usually inches or less.
