macromedia flash player 8 on a mac book pro

Does anyone know where to obtain a flash player download that actuall works on a mac book pro? i tried to download it off of this website http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=2dda3d81
and i followed all the steps and it just isn't working. anyone know what to do? i am trying to get this specific website to work, thefreddy.com its cool as hell.

Flash should be preinstalled, it certainly was on my iMac. I just tried that site and the first thing it did was blow my Safari up to huge proportions. Instant Command-W material there.
