Too bad ColdFusion is STILL PC only...I'm pissed off at Macromedia right now!!! 
It's a great product, but not having it on the Mac totally fractures our development process and creates the need for PCs where I work, where we wouldn't otherwise have them.
I swear that friggin' Macromedia made a deal with M$ to screw us over!!!
Or, it could simply be the fact that while CF runs on Linux, it still has kinks to work out OS X Server...and I'm just in a grumpy mood.

I am very excited about this release. I was going to get the upgrade for Fireworks ($159) and the upgrade for Dreamweaver ($199) but then I saw that this was going to be released. So basically for $50 more I get to upgrade and get Freehand 10 and Flash MX. If they release a version of ColdFusion that works on a mac that will be icing on the cake.

homesite incorporation is a *major* advantage for the pc
i've been using pc's and macs at work and at home for years and i'm too dissappointed that the homesite interface is not integrated into the mac version of dreamweaver.
if you have 12 documents to work with on a pc with dreamweaver you have 12 tabs where you can easily switch between files. on the mac version you have 12 floating windows and you pretty much have to guess which one is the one you want to edit.
*sigh* i truly wish i didn't need the pc. it would totally make my work life easier.
ps- i code web pages by hand, and don't bring up bbedit. it sucks compared to homesite.

BBEdit is a general purpose text editor, and as such it is quite good. Comparing it to Homesite is unfair, since Homesite is specifically for HTML.
That would be like comparing iTunes to SoundEdit Pro; one is much better than the other for playback and organization, but the other one can handle more file types.

I am totally with you my friend. I feel your pain. If Director comes out I can do it with OSX only.
