Okay... I'm sitting here working in Pro Tools and all of sudden a little MacRumors alert or notification rectangle slides into my window from the top right...

Whaaaaaaht?

I did not have MacRumors open in a browser and I do not have any MacRumor app installed that I know of.

Mac Pro early 2008

Look at this screen in Safari prefs and you should see you have allowed MacRumors to send you push notifications. This works even if you are not on the MacRumors web page.

Thank you! Phew... I couldn't imagine it was a virus and didn't realize push notifications were part of Yosemite...

The ever dwindling distinction between desktop and mobile... :)
