Today in church we had a guest speaker and he brought to the pulpit what looked like a macbook pro. Not sure what model it was since I only got to see the metallic lid with the white glowing apple logo.

I live in Honduras so is not everyday that you see a mac.

pretty cool huh?

Very interesting. The aluminum case and white logo really do stand out. You can tell a MacBook Pro from the lack of the S-Video out on the left side.

That is pretty cool! I use my iBook for presentations at my church for our pastor. But i'm in the back and no one can see it. Oh well! Did they use PowerPoint or Keynote?

Cool!
I did a presentation for my biology class a few weeks ago. My teacher, who uses some HP laptop with Powerpoint, was totally blown away by my presentation. She was wondering what the program was, and where she could get it. I had to explain to her that it was Keynote and only available for macs. :D

Yeah, I did a presentation using Keynote for my Marketing class in my final semester at Uni earlier this year. I made sure I used all the cool transitions just to rub it in the faces of the guys using Powerpoint - I actually heard some people say "woah" when the page did its cool reflect and spin thing.

Well he used the laptop for himself, he did not project it in any manner. -how selfish

I am an usher at church and I was standing very close to where he was sitting waiting for his time to preach. He had a very thin leather case. I had no idea he had a notebook inside that thin briefcase much less a mac.

He also had small cardboard box with the apple logo on it. I could not tell what it was from where I was standing, I thought it had to be an ipod, but it turned out to be the power supply for the mac.

I never got to see the screen and I barely saw the sides, so I could not tell what it was, but the glowing apple logo kept me hypnotized.

I wonder if there is a message in the idea of using a mac in church. Divine instrument for divine teaching?

Same here, I just did a presentation for one of my colllege classes last thursday and I got a couple of "that was an awesome presentation" remarks from my professor and a couple of the students. :)
