Alright, my buddy is been into being a DJ and such for sometime and now he wants to get serious into making his own stuff. He wants Logic 7 (its also universal right now so PPM and Intel)

He also has never prolly touched a Mac, just mine. He is thinking about getting the Mac Mini 1.5 with 1GB ram.

Enough to run Logic 7 or wayste of money?

It depents on how demanding your friend is going to be. If you need the power the Duo Core Mini might be a better option. Still, it'll run on a single G4 so a Solo Core Intel is more than enough.

No idea about Logic, but if its Universal Binary it will run great on a 1.5Ghz Mini. Almost every app I run on my new mini flies compared to running on my PB, and compares favorably with my G5 in terms of speed.
