MacUpdate down?

For the past several hours, macupdate's site has been apparently down. Can anyone else confirm this? I can not even connect to their server!

I get their page to load. I get an error saying that the page is down, please come back later blah, blah, blah.

MacUpdate is currently down. We're working to get it back up but we need your help. Please don't reload this page or visit for the next 40 minutes so our database can get caught back up with the connections.

Seems to be having serious problems and is stil not up. I know there is still versiontracker but I prefer Macupdate and feel like I'm supporting the Mac platform by going there. First Macrumors, now Macupdate...I smell a conspiracy afoot!!

I just think that it's one of those computer glitches. There have been a lot of updates lately. Just like MacRumors when capacity is reached some problems occur.

Apparently they had a hard drive crash. That's a horrible thing to go through! I hope they're back online soon. I like MacUpdate better than VT too--something about supporting the little guy, I guess

It's back up now but seems to be having problems displaying user comments. Glad to see macupdate back and hope they get all issues ironed out soon.

Yep, seem here. Mostly a blank screen.
If you reset Safari you enter Macupdate.com but 2-3 clicks and you get a blank screen again.

Last couple of days there have many issues.

I get macupdate.com to load, but not www.macupdate.com. They both resolve to the same IP, so I'm guessing it is a misconfiguration on their web server(s).
