Hey guys,

My dad and I have been planning a trip to San Fran for the Macworld expo. I saw the prices for the tickets and see $250 for the Stevenote.

What should we do? Plan, attending tips? Anything? Thanks

I called and they said the higher priced tickets sit in the front and lower price works to the back. He said if they run out of room, you watch it on a TV in a room. $500 bucks for something I can see on iTunes?

But what have you guys done in the past?

I went last year as a "User" and I learned a very important lesson:

If you're not from the media, you won't see the Stevenote.

I was VERY disappointed when it was 9:12 AM STILL standing outside... Then finally I came inside and filled into an overflow room

If you want to be there for the Stevenote, you should plan on being in the queue by 5am. If you're in line after 6am, you're essentially guaranteed to be in an overflow room watching on the television. It's absolutely possible for you to get into the Stevenote with a regular badge, but you've got to work for it. :)
