Hello Everyone,
So I did what everyone warned about and probably really deserve this.
I have/had a unlocked and jailbroken Iphone 3g 16gb running 3.0os. Well the home button started to act really goofy like not responding at all and only responding when I plugged it in occasionally. I played around with it awhile and thought maybe to restore it to see if it was a bug in the system. STUPID mistake and god knows what I was thinking. Now I got a nice shiny brick and the phone is like brand new. Ive tried the DFU mode and restoring to previous versions but all I get is errors. Is there anything that I can do or am I pretty much up S!^t's creek without a paddle? Any advice would be helpful

What is the actual problem?

You restored 3.0. So? That doesn't make a shiny brick. It makes an Apple iPhone on 3.0, which many people would still die for.

What do you want to do that you can't?
