Made with Mischief - drawing software

It's been mentioned in this forum once or twice, but if you've got a drawing tablet and haven't checked out Mischief you need to ASAP.

It's a fantastic little drawing app, very reasonably priced ($65 US) and is vector based so everything is completely scalable. I just pulled the trigger, anyone else using it?

I want to! --Definitely on my list after I get other stuff done first. How does Mischief compare to drawing in Manga Studio 5?

I saw the most recent video with the zoom out from bee to castle and it seems like the ideal no-fuss drawing software.

I've only dabbled a bit in Manga Studio so it's hard to say, but for me Manga Studio is kind of cluttered. I have been told it's got the best brushes of the various drawing apps though.

Mischief is just super simple and clean, everything is right there and it's REALLY fast.
 
That sounds really encouraging --because I agree, I find all the MS5 interface pretty off-putting (well granted, it does a ton of stuff and is pretty powerful and I think it can give Photoshop a run for the money) --as for drawing in Manga Studio 5 without thinking about any of the other stuff: it's pure bliss. It actually feels good.

I can't wait to try Mischief, I just watched the castle/bee thing about 7 times in a row. I've read that the brushes are limited in comparison to other software --but after looking at the results, that may not be a big deal.

Tomorrow might be a snow day, a good excuse to download the trial. :)

(Also: if you've got MS5, download Ray Frenden's brush set here --try these instead of the default MS5 brushes, they're amazing!)
