I've done a search and can't find anything that specifically answers my issues so I thought I'd start a new post

This morning I've tried to log into my M1 iMac 24" and I couldn't type in my password. Tried pressing the CAPS lock and no green light came on. Tried turning it on and off and still nothing so I thought it must be out of charge. Plugged it in and it came to life, however when I logged in and checked the battery power by clicking the bluetooth icon in the menu bar it showed 87%. I unplugged it again and it's not working fine.

I've also noticed on a couple of occasions when I've gone to check the battery power using the above method sometimes the percentages have not shown, sometimes for the mouse and sometimes for the keyboard.

Anyone know why this is happening please? My initial thoughts are some issue with bluetooth, but then I don't know why this would mean the CAPS lock light didn't come on the keyboard initially this morning?

I am having similar issues, but with the mouse. Lately it will stop scrolling. I have to turn it off and then turn it back on to get the scrolling back. I also have problems with seeing the charging percent. It is sometimes grayed out when it is low. Keyboard seems fine.
