iPad Pro Magic Keyboard causing iPad to crash?

Anyone had this experience? I have been using my Magic Keyboard with my 3rd gen 12.9 inch iPad Pro and I would say that it crashes once or twice a day. Sometimes the screen is just black and I have to hold the power button for a long time to get it to restart and sometimes I come back to the iPad and it says I need to enter my passcode to use accessories after a restart.

Prior to using the Magic Keyboard I used the Smart Keyboard folio and had no regular crashes.

The crashes occur sometimes when the magic keyboard is connected to power and sometimes it I not. I also sometimes charge my iPhone off of my iPad, but that doesn’t seem to make a difference either.

Any one else having more crashes with the Magic Keyboard?

Have you tried using your iPad for an extended period without the keyboard to see if the issue remains?

I have not yet, planning on trying that tomorrow. I imagine that it will work with no problems since there hasn’t been an iOS update and I haven’t installed any new apps recently. We shall see!

iPad Pro dead .... no idea why left overnight off charge ... dead .... 18 months old and stuck on this when put on charge ( see photo)
