Magic Keyboard/Mouse 2 with TB MBP

Pairing the first time was somewhat seamless (not as seamless as it was on my MBA). Sometimes it takes a while for my devices to connect to my Mac. In the Bluetooth window, it doesn't show either device as connected, even when they're on and connected directly to the Mac (USB C to lightning). I never had these issues with my MBA. Anyone else experiencing problems?

Not experiencing any problems at all here. It's always paired perfectly and never loses connection.

I have a similar issue with the magic mouse 2..the magic keyboard and trackpad work just fine..the mouse periodically doesnt pair..i have to pair it with a cable ...AND an ***** DONGLE...
