Sort of a specific question, but my old keyboard just failed me and I want to get the new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID. I currently have a Mac Pro 2013 running 10.15.7. I understand of course I will get NO touch ID usage with it. However, would the rest of the keyboards functionality work? FN keys, etc.? Will the bluetooth work?
I plan on upgrading to an Apple Silicon Mac in the next year, so I am fine buying this keyboard now and using it without Touch ID functionality for the time being.
