Magic Mouse 2 in older OSX versions

Hi, has anyone managed to use Magic Mouse 2 in Mountain Lion? When I tried to set it up I could not initiate any gestures or the scrolling ability!
Can any one help?

Hi I'm tried on my late 2013 27" imac it didnt initialize either. maybe there is security update fix for it?

You need to update your computer to macOS 10.11 or later. There's no security update that'll enable the mouse to work.
