Magic Mouse alternative

I've used the Magic Mouse for a while and I like how I am able to hold 'alt' in Logic and swipe sideways/up/down on the mouse and zoom accordingly.

Is the a (cabled or wireless) non-mac alternative that can perform this type of function? I guess I really just want something that can swipe sideways.

I did search the forum but found nothing.

Ditto the above, I love the features but hate the battery life and the feel of the MM. -- Suggestions?
