Magic Mouse / Keyboard Issues

OK,

I've have a new Imac 21 with the magic mouse / mini keyboard set up for over a week. Been on the phone with apple support and the store several times and still not resolved.

The problem seems to be the mouse / keyboard dropping connection over bluetooth set up. Not going to keep rebooting every time this happens. IF they can not resolve it this week it goes back.

2 weeks in with no problems untill mine started dropping out today. Cursor locks up and mouse ineffective. Turn off\on no solution. New batteries no solution. I wait for 5 minutes and it pops back on. WiFi continues to be a dog.

Gave Me A Wired Keyboard

Well took it back and they claim that the keyboard was bad. Bad keyboard could cause the mouse to be bad as well?????? They saw the keyboard light shut off. I thought I saw some where that it is supposed to shut down to preserve battery!
I am not buying this yet In any event I took a wired keyboard and we will see what happens for a week.

I am thinking that I am not the only one with this problem and that Apple will release a software update to correct these issues. Like I said I am using a wired keyboard for the moment but really want to switch back to the wireless.

You seem to be the only one having major issues,
I have been using two of the new keyboards and two of the new mice
No issues here mate

I don't trust wireless keyboards... On my next desktop Mac I'm getting the wired keyboard, but the wireless magic mouse...
